Some of my happiest memories from childhood were the countless hours my Dad spent playing baseball with me. Images of him hitting grounders, pitching, and just playing catch are forever burned into my memory.

As I was walking from the gym to my church’s sanctuary last night the sun shining on the steeple caught my eye. Never one to walk away from a moment I ran to my car and got my camera and took this shot. I sure do wish the moon was alot bigger….but, it does make the steeple appear very large in relation to it, huh? The perspective and light is what attracts me to this...

This past weekend we headed to our local town square for some fun, and I brought along my camera as I always do so that at least I’d get a few shots of something I could work with later that evening. I try to take a least a few photos per day of whatever just to further my skills…plus, you never know when a pleasant surprise awaits just around the next corner. As we were headed back to our car I decided to take a few shots of the flowers adorning the square.
